On this beautiful Easter Sunday, I’ve been reflecting on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ—and more personally, what they mean for me, in my life right now.

Yes, Christ conquered the most final and ultimate barrier to our progression: death. That truth brings me so much comfort when I think of the loved ones I’ve lost, knowing they will live again.

But as a single mama just trying to get through the mess of daily life, I’ve been especially grateful to understand how His sacrifice and victory can help me now.

Christ didn’t just overcome death—He overcame everything! Every. single. trial. Every single emotion on the spectrum—grief, shame, fear, anger, despair—He felt it all. And He didn’t just feel it; He conquered it. There is nothing you can experience that He doesn’t completely understand.

That struggle with infertility? He sees you.

The stack of bills that keeps you up at night? He understands.

The shame you've been carrying for far too long? He feels it.

The heartbreak you try to smile through? He's been there.

The anxiety that hits before your feet even touch the floor? He gets it.

The loneliness that makes you wonder if anyone would notice if you disappeared? He knows.

And more than that—He knows, better than anyone, what you need in that exact moment, that exact trial.

The struggles I’ve faced over the past few years have finally taught me that relying on the Savior is truly my best chance at peace and happiness. I’ve tried doing it my own way and, well… let’s just say that didn’t go great. Haha! And that is a mistake I won't make again because. once you've experienced life in this sideHis sideyou don't ever want to go back. There is a peace no other activity, person or event can mimic or replace.

Choosing to trust Him—choosing to hand over my heart, my plans, my life—has led to change, miracles, and the kind of inner peace I didn’t know was possible. I’m so incredibly grateful He was willing to conquer every hard thing so that we can trust His experience. Because of this I know He can carry us to the same destination: lasting peace, healing, and joy!

This healing and the lessons I’ve learned have given me something else, too—purpose. I feel deeply called to help others who are searching for the same kind of healing I’ve experienced. That’s what inspired me to start my own life coaching business and enroll in courses that are giving me powerful, practical tools to help my clients. Combining those tools with the Christ-centered healing that I’ve lived through personally is something I know will be truly impactful.

If you’re ready to start experiencing your own growth and healing, I’m offering my coaching services for free for just a few more weeks while I wrap up my final classes and officially become a Certified Life Coach. If this speaks to you, please reach out—I’d love to get you scheduled and help you get started.

Happy Easter, friends. He lives!
